Crowthorne Shine Session

Crowthorne Baptist Church have a Shine session, Daniel in the Lion’s Den, on Sunday 9th June from 3pm to 4:30pm. This is a family activity session including crafts, games, music, story and refreshments. Suggested donation: £1 per child. D Day 80 Posters

Thank you to all Oaklands pupils for their brilliant posters that were displayed yesterday at the Morgan Recreation Grounds. We have heard today that these will shortly be available to view on the Crowthorne Parish Council website: www.crowthorne-pc.gov.uk and we will share via our Facebook page shortly.

At 5pm yesterday at the Morgan Rec, a cheque to the value of £200 was presented to Mrs West as Oaklands Junior school submitted the highest number of D-Day 80 posters! Our grateful thanks to Crowthorne Parish Council for their donation of £100 but also to Two Sisters Café who match-funded this amount with another £100. We are over the moon!

Public Consultation on New Homes

Lightwood Strategic and Nicholas King Homes are hosting a public consultation on Friday 14th of June to exhibit development proposals for around 1,000 homes between Easthampstead Road and Old Wokingham Road.

Ascot Family Race Day – Saturday 13th July (Children go Free)

Parent ChatHealth Service

For Parents of 5–19-year-olds the School Nursing service offers The Parent ChatHealth Service: TEXT – 07312 263194 – text a school nurse in confidence, we can offer advice & support on topics like: Sleep, Bedwetting, Healthy eating, Emotional health & wellbeing, Dealing with medical conditions in school, Parenting and Bullying.
