On a glorious Autumn afternoon Oaklands attended a Year 4 mixed football tournament at Reddam School in Sindlesham. All the children played extremely well and they improved dramatically during the course of the tournament. After some early defeats the team managed to snatch a 1-0 win against Finchampstead in their last match. A special mention must go to our two girls, Robyn and Jessie, who played every match. All the children played enthusiastically and quickly learnt the skills of marking and not all running after the ball. This team should go from strength to strength. Thank you to all the parents that came along and supported the squad.
