On Tuesday 20th February Oaklands attended an Under 11 Hockey Tournament at Reading Hockey Club. This was a very large tournament with 30 teams from across Berkshire. Despite the bitterly cold wind that swept across the pitches the Oaklands Team remained positive and demonstrated great sportsmanship at all times. We initially played 4 matches in the qualifying rounds. We lost two and drew two. The team then moved into the plate competition, in which we lost one and won one. Well done to Patrick D and Oliver F for scoring and also a special mention to Sophie A for her amazing goal keeping skills! Well done Oaklands, you made all your supporters proud!
