Dear Parents/Carers,

PE Kits

As a reminder for our parents/carers, the following is an extract from our school uniform policy:

For P.E. and Games, pupils are required to wear the following:

¨ Yellow T-shirt, navy shorts

Parents/carers should note that:

¨ Trainers are best for outdoor lessons.

¨ Children will normally work barefoot for gymnastics and dance lessons (plimsolls will be allowed if children have foot problems).

¨ Many children like to have a plain/dark black/navy blue tracksuit when the weather is cold, but this is optional. Please ensure unbranded, discreet logo.

¨ In the interests of children’s health and safety, all stud earrings and watches must be removed for P.E./Games lessons, with pupils responsible for their own safekeeping.

Hoodies are not part of our school uniform and should not be worn for PE.

Homework

Please encourage your child to complete their homework and hand it in on time.

NSPCC Numbers Afternoon

Thank you to all the Dad’s, Uncles and Grandfather’s (DUG’s) who have been able to attend and help with all the maths activities across the school this afternoon. A great time has been had by all and we look forward to having an afternoon with MAG’s (Mum’s, Aunt’s and Grandmother’s) in the future.

Crowthorne Carnival Programme Cover Competition

Crowthorne Carnival are running a competition to design the front cover of the programme.  The winning design will be printed on over 7000 programmes that are delivered across Crowthorne.  The theme for the carnival this year is “Surfing the Seven Seas “.

If your child would like to take part in this competition their design should be portrait, with Crowthorne Carnival on the top and the date 6th July 2024 somewhere.  Their design should be completed on plain paper and returned to school by 22nd March for collection.  Please make sure their name, age and school are written on the back.

St Sebastians Beavers

This week Berkshire scouting held an assembly on Beavers and Scouting. They were extremely impressed by the fantastic observations and questions that the children came up with. They currently have spaces within the St. Sebastian’s Beavers group and would welcome any members (aged 6 – 8). Contact details can be found on the Local Community Information Page if your child is interested in a trial session.
