Dear Parents / Carers,

We have been asked by the PTA to forward details of the following two events happening this Friday 7th June:

In addition to this, the Carnival Committee would like to ask parents for help in collecting the following much needed supplies for the carnival.  These supplies are required by Friday 7th June and can be dropped off in the yellow bin which will be located by the Junior School’s gate.

  • Large cardboard (A2, A1 or bigger)
  • Poster paints
  • Crafting materials – sequins, glitter coloured card
  • PVA glue, sticks and pots
  • Recycled plastic milk bottles and clear bottles
  • Sponges
  • String

Also happening this Friday 7th June is our Year 5/6 Cake Sale which is raising funds for new playground equipment for the Junior School.  The event will take place after school and all cake donations will be gratefully received.  Any shop bought cakes can be sent into our School Office now however we ask that home baked cakes be brought in on the day of the sale and taken by your child to the workspace in Class 5B.

And finally, we are delighted to announce that on Friday 14th June, we will be having a plant sale here at the Junior School at the end of the day.  All plants have been grown by our children with the help of our resident Gardening Expert Mr Hopley who very kindly volunteers his time each week to work with the children in our outside garden.  Prices will range from £1 for a small pot, £2 for a large pot and £4 for a tray.

We really hope that you are able to participate in some of these fundraising activities.

Many thanks and kind regards,
The School Office
