New Playground Equipment Fundraising by Year 5/6 – Cake Sale Friday 7th June
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you about the fundraising event being held on Friday 7th June. Any shop bought cakes may be sent into our school office after half term and any home baked cakes should be brought in on the day of the sale. Please ensure that all cakes are nut free.
Culinera D Day Menu Thursday 6th June
Culinera would like to invite you to celebrate their D Day menu with them on Thursday 6th June. If you have not already ordered a meal for that day, please visit their website to place your order.
D Day 80 Free Family Event
This free family event marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day is being held at the Morgan Rec on Thursday 6th June from 3:30pm. A number of our children have entered the poster competition and their artwork will be on display until 5:30pm. For more details please visit the Local Community page of our website.
Bikeability – Woodford Park
Bikeability are offering half term courses (fee paying) for Level 1 & 2 (Years 5 and 6) and Level 3 (Year 6 children who have completed Levels 1 & 2).
Half Term Camps/Activities
The Local Community page of our website is also home to camps and activities that are available to book and/or take part in over the half term. Just Play Sports and AceStars Tennis are both running clubs and Reading Museum have half term activities on offer. Wokingham Library has a Nature Poem competition running with prizes available.
Secondary School Invites for Year 5’s
The Abbey have an open day for current year 5 girls, who are looking for a place in September 2025, on June 12th and Holme Grange are offering a taste of life to boys and girls in Year 5 on Saturday 8th June. These and other invites are available to view on the Secondary School page of our website.
