Dear Parents / Carers,
Following a suggestion from our PTA, we are holding an Easter Bonnet Parade on Wednesday 25th March at 2:45pm. Some of you may already have seen the attached poster on the PTA WhatsApp Group or within last week’s Infant School Newsletter.
We are hoping that as many children as possible from across both schools will take part. All they need to do at home is make their own Easter bonnet/hat or Easter poster (if they would prefer) and bring it into school on the day of the Parade. They will then be asked to wear their bonnet or hold their poster whilst forming a walking procession around the school field / playground in celebration of Easter.
During the Parade, we will be joined by members of the Corvus Learning Trust who will be judging all the entries and awarding prizes for the best bonnets and posters.
Participation in the Parade is not compulsory – if your child does not wish to take part that is absolutely fine – they will be asked to join our staff and judges as spectators, cheering on the procession.
Please note there will be no Easter Egg Raffle as previously advertised by our PTA earlier this year.
