Dear Parent/Carer,

Although the official date for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is on 12th December, here at Oaklands we will be taking part on Friday 20th December.  By pulling on our Christmassy knits and donating, we will be supporting children in the UK and around the world to keep safe, healthy and learning. We would be very grateful to receive any donations of £1 or more for this very worthy cause as part of a non-uniform day. Alternatively, please follow the link below and donate £2 (or more if you are feeling generous…) and it will go straight to Save the Children.

Please remember that school closes earlier at 1:30pm on Friday 20th December.

We would also request that all Junior children have a long-sleeved coat at school on a daily basis, preferably waterproof and warm. If children are wearing gilets and it is drizzling/raining, they will be asked to sit in the gazebo as their clothing gets wet and stays wet for the afternoon session.

Kind regards,

Mr D Holland
Head of School
