School Day
Timings for the school day here at Oaklands Juniors are outlined below.
Parents are reminded that although classroom doors open at 8:40 am, for safety reasons, under no circumstances should children arrive at school before 8:40 am. Please note that lateness, especially for the morning session, causes a great deal of inconvenience and will be noted on the register.
In the interests of safety, parents/carers are requested to contact the School Office on the first morning of absence, before 9:00 am when the registers are closed, so that absences can be accounted for. If an illness persists, please contact the school each morning. Anyone arriving after 8.50 am will need to be signed in at Reception and this will result in a late mark on the register.
Please send written notification if you must collect your child during school hours with details of a valid reason. Try to avoid booking dentist appointments within the school day.
